Message from Chairman

It is my great honor to serve IET Hong Kong as the Chairman of Management Section of 2011 / 2012 session.

It is my pleasure to share with you and welcome you to join in Management Section of IET Hong Kong. This year we have crafted out a theme namely A Reign of Environmental Consciousness. Riding on this, we have planed lot of events and activities grasping every opportunity to let our members be inspired toward a betterment of living environment in Hong Kong. Two main streams are to be put forwards in stages, one to cultivate sense of green engagement and carbon neutrality, the other to build sustainable management setting and solution in the fundamental design context.

Riding on the success of past biennial symposiums, I am delighted to announce that the Section will host a one day symposium, "The eCO2 Management Symposium - A Paradigm Shift", on 25 May 2012. The symposium will centre around topics on new and emerging solutions achieving a cleaner and greener tomorrow, and reducing our carbon footprint. This is the Section's signature symposium which ever receives flourishing compliments from various practitioners and professionals.

Our commitment to enhancing our members' competence as leaders and key professionals in engineering and technology fields is unwavering. I am sure that with all supports and positive feedbacks from all of you will continue to make the coming session a fruitful and valuable one.
